NOTD - Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit

Today's Negroni Of The Day - Sacred Pink Grapefruit Gin, Barona Rosso Vermouth and Riserva Carlo Alberto Bitter Rouge. 

Slightly lighter, slightly sweeter than a "default" Negroni (e.g. Beefeater / Martini Rosso / Campari) but still enough bitter notes to keep it interesting, whilst also being fresh, fruity and a bit zingy. Unclear what exactly this particular vermouth is bringing to the party here - to be honest I just bought this one in a drinks shop near where I live because I hadn't seen it before and it was cheap. I suspect from the lack of information about it on the web it isn't particularly highly regarded or anything, but it certainly didn't detract from this Negroni.
